How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
Myth: a referral service means you talk to a salesperson who runs your project. Fact: you talk to an independent concrete provider. They run their own business. They do the work, set the scope, and give the written quote. Humanfollows Concrete only makes the introduction.
What Happens on the First Call
Expect a short, friendly chat. The provider will likely ask about:
- What you want built: a driveway, a patio, or stamped concrete
- The rough size and shape
- Your address area and how easy it is to reach the site
- Your timeline
Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies. They may suggest a site visit before giving a price.
What to Ask a Provider
A first-timer does not need to know everything. Just ask good questions:
- Will you give me a written quote with the full scope?
- How will you prepare the ground and handle drainage?
- How do you plan for freeze-thaw winters?
- What thickness and finish do you suggest, and why?
- Do you carry the licenses and insurance my area requires?
- How long before I can walk or park on it?
If your home is older, mention it. Stone or block foundations and tight access can change the plan.
You Are in Control
Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can compare quotes, ask for more detail, or say no thanks. Take your time with the written quote before you sign.
If something feels unclear, ask again. A good provider will be glad to explain. Jot down what each provider tells you so it is easy to compare later.
